Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with laboratory regulations.
• Knowledge of bloodborne pathogen and biohazardous waste procedures.
• Knowledge of CDPH, CLIA, CAP, and state/federal laws in moderate to high complexity labs.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced laboratory procedures and tissue specimen work with minimal supervision.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain complex laboratory instruments and equipment; troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze and report experimental results; collaborate on data analysis and study design.
• Handle and process samples, ensuring proper preservation and storage.
• Manage inventory of supplies and reagents; assist in procurement.
