Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of laboratory experience.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain day-to-day lab operations to meet testing turnaround times.
• Review test data, calculations and results for accuracy and completeness.
• Assign testing and ensure completion dates are met for sample submissions.
• Evaluate new technologies, products, and materials as assigned by management.
• Recommend appropriate test methods based on product type and evaluation needs.
• Facilitate and process test requests and results with independent laboratories.
• Write, review, and/or update standard operating procedures.
• Train new employees per standard operating procedure and document training appropriately.
