Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Mundelein, IL is seeking a Lab Tech for 2nd shift to perform routine laboratory tests, document data, and provide technical support while communicating results.

Responsibilities include testing per SOPs on materials, finished goods, maintaining equipment, updating SOPs, data documentation, safety, and reviewing test data for accuracy. A high school diploma is required and at least 1 year in a lab; a Bachelor’s degree in a science field is preferred.

Job Summary

Medline Industries has an immediate opening for a Lab Tech. This role will be based out of our Mundelein location and will work 2nd shift. Perform routine laboratory tests based on documented processes. Document data and results per good documentation practices and perform general laboratory housekeeping. Provide technical support and communicate scientific results.

• Maintain laboratory equipment, identify malfunctions, and perform simple repairs or can coordinate repairs as needed.
• Review and update standard operating procedures.
• Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices.
• Review test data, calculations and results for accuracy and completion.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certification / Licensure:

• None

Work Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Basic skills with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$25.00 - $36.25 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
