Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Georgia to support testing operations at the Social Circle facility. The role emphasizes GMP-compliant testing, instrument maintenance, data review, and batch release coordination to ensure accurate donor sample results.

The ideal candidate holds a biomedical degree (or equivalent) and may have MT/MLT certification, plus 2–5 years of lab experience. Proficiency with MS Office and data reduction software is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a biomedical discipline or related field.
• MT or MLT certification from ASCP or other accredited certifying organization preferred.
• 2–5 years of laboratory training or work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
• Review testing, QC, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Release test data to Quality Assurance for batch release.
• Coordinate and release data from data reduction software for LIS import.
• Document corrective actions and respond to nonconforming material reports.
• Participate in operational excellence initiatives (5S, Kaizen, etc.).
