Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee operations in our Georgia testing lab. You will supervise high- and moderate-complexity testing, manage staff, and ensure compliance with GMPs, CLIA, CFRs, and site SOPs.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, conducting annual performance reviews, training staff, providing technical guidance, and supporting quality systems with CAPA and QA teams. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Doctoral, master's or bachelor's degree in a chemical/biological/clinical/medical laboratory science or nursing from an accredited institution.
• Associate degree in a chemical/biological/clinical/medical laboratory science or nursing from an accredited institution.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in medical technology.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision of laboratory operations and testing performance (50%).
• Functions as supervisor for testing personnel performing high and moderate complexity testing.
• Maintains reagent and consumable inventory.
• Performs annual employee performance reviews and training/competency assessments.
• Provides technical assistance to staff, operations, and donor centers.
• Supports QC/QA with CAPA, SOP reviews and adherence.
