Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Lab Technician to support sample results release, maintenance functions, and testing per SOPs, CFRs, GMPs, and CUAs. The role emphasizes QA, data management, and adherence to quality initiatives in a fast-paced lab environment.

Located in USA - GA - Social Circle, the position requires standing, lifting, and glove use for blood-borne pathogen risk. Strong computer skills (MS Office) and a commitment to patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a biomedical discipline (Chemical, physical, biological, clinical lab science, or medical technology)
• OR Associate degree from an accredited college/university in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology
• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or an Associate degree in medical laboratory technology, 2-5 years of laboratory training or work experience preferred
• MT or MLT certification from ASCP or other accredited certifying organization preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
• Review testing, quality control, and other reports for accuracy.
• Release test data to Quality Assurance for batch release.
• Coordinate and release data from data reduction software for import into the Laboratory Information System.
• Review and respond to Nonconforming Material Reports.
• Adheres to laboratory quality control policies, calibrations, and maintenance.
