Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a Lab Technician 2 to preserve, prepare, process and maintain lab samples in a busy lab. You will support analytical testing, document results, and ensure orderly operations in a safe environment.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 3 years of lab support experience; an associates degree is preferred. Expect standard lab duties, strict safety practices, and teamwork in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of lab support experience.
• Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination.
• Strong knowledge of lab support policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lab for daily operations, including stocking materials and maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Supports analytical testing using complex lab support knowledge and proper sample handling.
• Picks up, transports, and maintains results, samples, documents, and materials.
• Disposes of laboratory materials following established guidelines.
• Performs basic lab equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Reviews and processes complex logs, documents, and databases.
• Provides support to staff and management regarding lab policies and practices.
• Assists with reviewing and implementing lab support programs to meet needs.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations; escalates when required.
• Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department’s service to customers.
• Promotes a cooperative workplace and interacts courteously with customers and staff.
