Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a Lab Technician 2 to join our team in North Carolina. The role involves preserving, preparing, processing and maintaining lab samples, with responsibilities spanning data entry, reporting and customer support.

The position requires a high school diploma with three years of lab support experience; an Associate degree is preferred. Work is typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with pay at $19/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of lab support experience.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted.
• Ability to learn broad organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lab for daily operations, stocking materials and maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Supports analytical testing processes and documents results.
• Picks up, transports, and maintains results, samples and materials.
• Disposes of lab materials following established guidelines.
• Performs basic lab equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Reviews and processes complex logs and documents.
