Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a laboratory analyst to perform in-process and final product analyses for multiple production lines and collect samples for quality control.

The role involves working closely with production on quality issues, maintaining a Quality Database, calibrating instruments, and providing Certificates of Analysis to customers. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and rotating shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 5+ years of laboratory experience preferred but not necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Detailed oriented.
• Well organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Database usage and maintenance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Requirement to work a rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow our Guardian Angel safety culture.
• Drive into the plant to collect samples for quality analysis.
