Job summary

Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH seeks a Senior Lab Manager and Technical Program Manager to lead end‑to‑end execution of federally funded programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master's degree preferred in CS/EE/Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing federally funded research programs (e.g., DARPA, ARPA‑H) and multi‑program portfolios.
• Hands‑on fluency across hardware, firmware, signal processing, ML, or related domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with program managers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Program execution and milestone delivery across multiple federally funded research programs in parallel.
• Day‑to‑day operations across lab spaces, including reviews, reporting, and equipment lifecycle oversight.
• Sub‑award, industry partner, consultant, and vendor management with SOW alignment and risk escalation.
• Interface with funding agency program managers, site visits, and reporting packages.
• Recruiting and onboarding support for postdocs, engineers, and research staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
