Job summary

Dartmouth College is seeking a senior Lab/Program Manager to lead end‑to‑end execution of federally funded research programs in healthcare outcomes and sensing technology. You will own milestone delivery, lab operations, equipment lifecycle, and external interface with funding agencies across hardware, firmware, ML, biology, and clinical workstreams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field.
Experience managing federally funded research programs (e.g., DARPA, ARPA‑H).
Strong multi‑project program management discipline: milestone planning, dependency tracking, subaward and vendor management, risk and change management.
Hands‑on technical fluency across at least two of: wearable sensing hardware, embedded firmware, biosignal processing, ML for biosignals, or HW‑FW‑SW delivery.

Responsibilities

Program execution and milestone delivery across federally funded research programs.
Day‑to‑day operations across lab spaces, reviews, reporting, and lab equipment lifecycle.
Subaward, industry partner, consultant, and vendor management.
Funding‑agency interface including program reviews and site visits.
Recruiting and onboarding support for postdocs, engineers, and research staff.
Collaborate with leadership to advance grant and contract proposals.
