Job summary

Cognizant in the United States seeks an experienced Senior/Principal Lab Informatics & Digital Lab Consultant (15+ years) to lead consulting, assessments, transformation and large-scale implementations across Manufacturing, QC and Analytical laboratories.

The role requires a strong IT and Lab Informatics background, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, translate challenges into executable roadmaps, and define target-state solutions across data, systems and instruments.

Qualifications

• 15–18+ years in Lab Informatics or related consulting.
• Life Sciences experience across Manufacturing and QC labs.
• Strong knowledge of LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS and related tech.
• Experience leading assessments, roadmaps and large programs.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage priorities.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Lab consulting, strategy and transformation roadmaps.
• Assess laboratory processes, applications, integrations, data and hardware.
• Facilitate workshops with Laboratory Business, IT and leadership.
• Translate challenges into target-state solutions and business cases.
• Define program scope, governance, milestones and timelines.
• Develop estimates, pricing and commercial modelling.
