Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and microtainer collection
• Ensure specimens are labeled correctly and orders received properly
• Process and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
• May receive and set up primary specimen cultures
• Document equipment temperatures and perform preventive maintenance
• Maintain inventory levels and place supply orders
• Assist with staff scheduling and cross-training
