Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking a Sr. Lab Application Analyst to support laboratory informatics, software life cycle, and clinical workflows in a hybrid, Southern California environment.

You will collaborate with IS teams, vendors, and leadership to assess, configure, test, and deploy lab software solutions, while mentoring staff and educating end users on processes and improvements. Strong communication with clinicians and management is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a clinical or applications analyst in healthcare.
• Knowledge of lab clinical workflows and how staff roles impact end user experience.
• Experience leading complex projects and coordinating teams.
• Experience mentoring junior team members on operational workflows and system usage.
• Strong communication with clinical leadership and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IS and lab teams to assess, configure, test, and deploy ancillary lab software solutions.
• Provide expert analysis and support for lab applications and core systems throughout their life cycle.
• Educate users and junior staff on workflows, processes, and system improvements.
• Lead testing scenarios for regression testing and project validation.
• Act as liaison to clinicians and departments during project implementations.
