Job summary

TechDigital Group in Jersey City seeks an L3 Support Engineer to provide high-level technical support across Windows, VMware, and Linux environments. The successful candidate will participate in on-call rotations, mentor junior staff, and drive ITIL-aligned processes and security remediation.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of Windows, VMware, and Linux environments.
Proficient with Puppet and WSUS for patching.
Familiar with VMware ESXi 7, vSAN, and vSphere features.
Experience managing HPE GreenLake hardware.
Understanding vulnerability management frameworks and CVSS.
ITIL processes for incident, change and problem management.
Certs preferred: VCP, RHCE, AZ-104, ITIL Foundation.

Responsibilities

System Administration: Manage Windows Server, VMware ESXi/vCenter, and Linux servers.
Patch Management: automate with Puppet; patch via WSUS; ensure compliance.
Hardware & Infrastructure: monitor GreenLake hardware; firmware updates.
Vulnerability Management: assess and remediate using Nessus/Qualys.
ITIL Alignment: incident, problem, and change management; keep docs updated.
Collaboration: communicate with cross-functional teams; mentor juniors.
