Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced network engineer to design, implement, and operate resilient L3/L4 network services across data centers and cloud environments. You will lead moderately complex projects, drive automation and observability, and collaborate with SRE, platform, and security partners to deliver secure, compliant, and highly available network services.

Qualifications

In-depth experience designing and operating L3/L4 network services across data centers and cloud environments.
Proficiency with routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/IS-IS) and overlay fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN).
Experience with automation, IaC, and observability at scale; familiarity with security and compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead designs for IP addressing, routing policies, and SDN overlays across on-prem and cloud.
Implement and operate VPC/VNet topologies, NAT, and inter-cloud connectivity.
Develop Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks; enforce policy as code and CI/CD gates.
Mentor engineers and collaborate with SRE, platform, and security teams.
Define SLIs/SLOs and build monitoring dashboards; drive incident prevention.
