Job summary

Veriipro seeks an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide L2 production support for critical investment banking applications. You will work with Oracle databases, Unix/Linux environments, and Google Cloud Platform to ensure application stability and fast incident resolution.

Responsibilities include monitoring, SQL/PLSQL troubleshooting, ITIL-aligned processes, and collaboration with DevOps and cross-functional teams to drive continuous service improvements.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Application Support / Production Support roles.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise applications in banking/financial services.
• Good knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
• Strong Unix/Linux troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of ITIL service management processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for critical investment banking applications.
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production incidents.
• Perform database analysis, SQL troubleshooting, and PL/SQL support.
• Support Unix/Linux-based applications and perform system-level troubleshooting.
• Work with cloud environments, primarily GCP.
• Manage ITIL processes: Incident, Service Request, Problem, Change, CSI.
• Use monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Support DevOps and automation initiatives.
• Participate in production deployments and releases.
• Maintain documentation for procedures, incidents, and knowledge articles.
