Job summary
PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Technology Manager to lead day-to-day operations of enterprise Kubernetes platforms in Dallas.
This role links engineering with business stakeholders to deliver scalable infrastructure, drive adoption, and define Day-2 strategy across on-prem and cloud environments. You will shape the platform roadmap, ensure secure and resilient operations, and partner with DevOps, security, and networking teams to optimize CI/CD, IaC, and resource
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years in technology with experience leading container platform operations teams preferred.
Responsibilities
- Platform Leadership: Maintain highly resilient, secure, and scalable containerized infrastructure
- Performance Optimization: Monitor metrics to enhance performance, usability, and reliability of container workloads
- Upgrades & Maintenance: Execute zero-downtime Day-2 operations, including Kubernetes version rollouts
- Security & Compliance: Enforce container security, image scanning, runtime security and policy compliance
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with DevOps, security, and networking to optimize CI/CD pipelines and IaC
- Resource Efficiency: Manage resource requests/limits and autoscaling
- Cost Optimization: Improve cluster efficiency and reduce cloud/on-prem costs
- Incident Response: Lead RCA workflows for production outages
