PNC is seeking a Software Engineering Group Manager to lead strategy, architecture, and operational excellence of Kubernetes-based container platforms across on-prem and cloud environments. Based in locations including Dallas, TX, the role bridges engineering and business stakeholders to deliver scalable infrastructure and a superior developer experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
10+ years in technology leading Container Platform Engineering teams; agile software product development experience preferred.
10+ years Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools; cloud and on-prem platforms familiarity.
Experience in Agile development environments, developer platform products.
Strong Kubernetes, container orchestration, and DevOps tooling background.
Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP and on-prem OpenShift or bare-metal Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Define the roadmap for Kubernetes-based container platforms and CaaS.
Design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure containerized infrastructure.
Lead product development with engineering—provide self-service APIs and documentation.
Represent customers and study industry trends for product evolution.
Oversee metrics to improve performance, usability, and reliability of workloads.
