Akina Inc. seeks a Level IV Software Integration Engineer to support COTS/GOTS software integration in a Linux-based, Kubernetes-driven CASA Compute Environment at Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities include configuring, upgrading, and sustaining software stacks, creating documentation, performing HPC tool ownership, and maintaining container platforms with Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, and CI/CD tooling. TS/SCI with polygraph required or within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 10+ years' experience.
• Five (5) years full-time CS-related work that can substitute for a degree; ten (10) years demonstrable experience.
• Industry certification (e.g., C2Q) may substitute for 1 year experience.
• Master's degree may substitute for 2 years experience.
• Experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software.

Responsabilités

• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
• Generate documentation for the full software stack.
• Update software for sustainment support.
• Linux system administration basics and shell scripting.
• Execute test codes for software performance characterization.
• Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters; IaC provisioning and maintenance.
• Develop software tool plugins and determine optimal HPC configurations.
