Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Platform Engineer to support the global expansion of the Falcon platform. You will be a highly technical, hands-on engineer with deep Kubernetes experience and strong open-source tooling across large-scale deployments.

You will design scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes solutions, improve reliability, evaluate new technologies, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with security and CJIS requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (U.S. citizenship or Green Card)
• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience including management of clusters with thousands of nodes
• Experience with Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager
• Proficient in Golang and large-scale Linux environments
• Experience operating across AWS, GCP, and OCI clouds and in data centers
• Familiarity with on-call shifts and rotating schedules
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and drive outcomes

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes platform solutions
• Optimize and maintain high reliability of large-scale infrastructure
• Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies into existing systems
• Provide technical direction for evolution of Kubernetes infrastructure services
• Mentor and develop less-senior engineers to drive informed decisions
