Job summary

Remote is seeking a Senior Knowledge Management Analyst to develop and optimize knowledge resources supporting federal health benefits programs. The role focuses on transforming complex policies into clear, accessible documentation and ensuring governance across content lifecycle.

You will work with multiple stakeholders to validate documentation, maintain taxonomies, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with PII/PHI safeguards. This is a fully remote US-based position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant professional experience. An advanced degree or professional designation is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in knowledge management, content management, documentation governance, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing and maintaining knowledge bases using SharePoint or comparable platforms.
• Strong understanding of knowledge governance practices, including content lifecycle management, version control, approval workflows, document ownership, periodic reviews, and change management.
• Proven ability to assess knowledge resources and drive improvements using data, quality findings, training insights, and user feedback.
• Experience designing documentation standards, templates, workflows, taxonomies, metadata structures, and search optimization strategies.
• Strong technical proficiency with SharePoint site management and document management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and maintain a centralized knowledge base in SharePoint.
• Translate complex policies into clear knowledge articles, SOPs, FAQs, and job aids.
• Establish and maintain document management processes and governance frameworks.
• Regularly assess the knowledge base for outdated info and gaps, implementing updates.
• Implement content lifecycle management with version control and approvals.
• Collaborate with Operations, Training, Quality, Technology, and Implementation teams.
• Design and maintain documentation workflows, templates, and taxonomies.
• Establish content ownership and encourage stakeholder contributions.
