Job summary

Onvo is seeking an experienced restaurant technician to manage multiple facilities, safely maintaining and repairing a variety of kitchen equipment across stores, kitchens, and restaurants. The role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to emergencies as required.

Responsibilities include repairing fryers, ovens, dishwashers, refrigeration, maintaining records, scheduling visits, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience troubleshooting kitchen equipment.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Electrical knowledge relevant to outlets and wiring safety.
• Proficiency with plumbing tasks in kitchens/restaurants.
• Ability to schedule work orders and track repairs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair fryers, ovens, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment safely and promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties.
• Inspect equipment and systems regularly.
• Respond to emergencies after hours and on weekends.
• Maintain accurate repair records and parts inventory.
• Schedule and manage repairs, track work orders.
• Assist with projects to improve quality and reduce downtime.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and facilities.
