OXO International Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Sr. Product Engineer (Kitchen Electrics) to lead design and development across OXO brand products, from concept to production.

In a hybrid work model, you’ll critique designs, build prototypes, collaborate with internal and external teams, and ensure cost-effective manufacturing. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanical/electro-mechanical engineering experience and solid CAD skills in SolidWorks or Creo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electro-mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in plastics, injection molding, sheet metal, and die casting.
• SolidWorks or Creo proficiency.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and schematics.
• Ability to write basic code for microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically/internationally.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Responsibilities

• Critique designs from design firms and review CAD files.
• Input design changes and liaise with design firms.
• Develop prototypes and pre-production samples.
• Review factory-produced samples for quality and cost.
• Prepare BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams on firmware/electronics when applicable.
• Develop testing procedures and validation plans.
• Ensure product performance and quality standards.
