Helen of Troy in New York is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Design - OXO, Hydro Flask, and Osprey team. You will design mechanisms, create CAD models, and support the development of new products with cross-functional teams.

You will prototype, test, and iterate within budgets, collaborate with manufacturing partners to refine processes, and help bring products from concept to pilot production in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
• 2+ years of relevant product development experience.
• Portfolio in PDF or website required.
• Experience with 3D CAD.
• Strong project management, collaboration and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanisms and product architecture in collaboration with the design team.
• Create CAD models and assemblies for evaluation and concepting.
• Prototype and simulate use-cases with mock-ups.
• Work with manufacturing partners to refine assembly and process.
• Support engineering for new products from prototyping to pilot production.
• Present test results and status to team and managers.
