Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff in Chantilly, VA, to lead signal and image processing and modeling & simulation efforts within CMED. The role requires a strong background in aerospace engineering, multi-disciplinary systems, and proficiency in Python and C++, with a current Top Secret clearance.

As part of the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department, you will contribute to end-to-end analyses, integrate tools, and develop compelling technical reports for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field from an accredited school.
• 5+ years of professional engineering/scientific experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
• Technical understanding of space operations, simulations, and C2.
• Experience with EOIR, RF, and RADAR processing for object detection and tracking.
• Experience with Python and/or C++.
• Ability to work on dynamic assignments and evolving customer needs.
• Current Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and contribute to technical analysis projects.
• Exercise expertise in understanding, modeling, and analyzing enterprise-level integrated missions.
• Use and contribute to in-house and government-off-the-shelf engineering analysis tools and products.
• Develop and deliver timely and technically accurate presentations and reports.
• Travel occasionally as required.
