The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Engineering Specialist in Signal & Image Processing and Modeling & Simulation to join CMED in the Integrated Performance Subdivision. The role emphasizes modeling, simulation, and analysis across multi-phenomenology sensors and space-domain applications.

Requires a BS in engineering and 6+ years, with Python and C++ proficiency, and a current Top Secret clearance. Onsite in Chantilly, El Segundo, or Colorado Springs; relocation may be available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related technical field.
• 6+ years of progressively responsible engineering/scientific experience.
• Technical understanding of astrodynamics.
• Experience with multi-phenomenology remote sensing (EOIR, RADAR, RF).
• Familiarity with space domain awareness, C2, and defense concepts.
• Advanced experience with Python and C++.
• Current Top Secret Clearance.

Aufgaben

• Translate program needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks.
• Develop and contribute to in-house and commercial tools for multi-phenomenology data.
• Develop and present briefings and reports for customers.
• Analyze enterprise architectures across multiple missions.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a learning environment.
• Travel occasionally as required.
