Job summary

Lam Research in Tualatin, OR seeks a Key Account Technologist 5 to lead advanced process engineering for etch and deposition products, collaborating with customers to align roadmaps and drive adoption of new technologies.

You will develop formulations, define hardware requirements, evaluate data, and guide technicians, contributing to the semiconductor roadmap and next-generation breakthroughs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 8+ years of experience; or a PhD with 5+ years.
• Equivalent experience accepted.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, collect data, analyze results, and report on customer demos.
• Collaborate with customers to understand roadmaps and requirements.
• Introduce and drive adoption of new technologies at customer sites.
• Support next-gen product development and release activities.
• Provide leadership to process technicians during execution.
• Conduct process engineering R&D for Lam’s equipment.
• Review and improve processing techniques in manufacturing.
