Job summary

Lam Research in Tualatin, OR, is seeking a Process Engineer 5 to develop and optimize deposition and etch processes on cutting-edge semiconductor equipment. You will work in the Global Products Group, translating data into robust process formulations and coordinating design requirements with engineering teams.

You will analyze test results, lead process improvements, and collaborate with customers to enable technology adoption at sites, contributing to next-generation semiconductor breakthroughs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 8+ years of experience.
• PhD with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment and materials analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering R&D for Lam's semiconductor equipment.
• Review and enhance processing techniques for manufacturing.
• Develop and sustain new processes to reduce costs and increase yields.
• Analyze test data and define process specifications.
• Collaborate with customers to understand roadmaps and requirements.
• Lead process technicians and drive adoption of new technologies at customer sites.
