Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager in the United States to drive growth with key pulp and paper customers. You will provide consultative sales support, chemical application expertise, and strategic account management to help mills improve product quality and reduce operating costs.

Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of mills, collaborating with technical teams, and developing growth plans while monitoring market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Paper Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years supporting pulp and paper customers, paper chemicals, water treatment, industrial manufacturing, or technical sales.
• Understanding of paper manufacturing processes and chemical treatment programs.
• Proven success building relationships with operations, engineering, and procurement teams.
• Strong sales aptitude and consultative selling skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of pulp and paper manufacturing accounts.
• Support chemical programs for retention aids, strength additives, sizing, coating, deposit control, and process optimization.
• Collaborate with customer technical teams to identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Conduct process evaluations and recommend solutions to improve machine efficiency and quality.
• Develop and execute strategic account growth plans.
• Generate new business opportunities within assigned mills and corporate structures.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends in the pulp and paper industry.
• Prepare technical reports, business reviews, and value summaries for customers.
• Support product trials, startup activities, and process improvement projects.
