Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager for the pet food segment in a US-based remote role. You will manage key accounts, develop strategic plans, forecast demand, and drive revenue growth across a diverse portfolio including Premix, vitamins, minerals, and postbiotics.

The position requires 5+ years in key account management, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain. Travel 30–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in key account management / sales (pet food or ingredients)
• Experience managing strategic accounts and growing business
• Proven ability to present technical products to customers and negotiate effectively
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills
• Travel approximately 30–40% for meetings and trade events
• Proficiency with Teams, Outlook, SAP, Excel and CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for key pet food accounts and build long-term partnerships
• Create and execute strategic account plans with forecasting and demand planning
• Drive revenue growth and margin via pricing and product portfolio
• Coordinate across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, CX and Quality
• Provide category insights and support customer innovation goals
