Senior Key Account Manager – Distributors
(Buckingham, UK)

Your Mission
To develop and execute the UK Distributor strategy, develop profitable sales, and create strong long-term customer partnerships aligned with the Puratos UK business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver budgeted growth across all sectors, managing key metrics like volume, net sales, and margin.
  • Develop and implement the UK Distributors strategy in alignment with global and UK stakeholders.
  • Create and execute pricing and promotional plans in collaboration with marketing and R&D teams.
  • Maintain a competitive pricing strategy and adapt to market conditions.
  • Build strategic relationships at all customer levels and with industry bodies.
  • Define and implement Joint Business Plans with key customers.
  • Manage forecasts and supply chain coordination to ensure high service levels.
  • Collaborate with customer service for order processing.
  • Coordinate with Business Units for project management and product launches.
  • Advise customers on product use and market trends.
  • Manage customer pricing strategies and renegotiations.
  • Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
  • Lead projects involving NPD and R&D teams.
  • Use systems like CRM, Power BI, and IBP for reporting and forecasting.
  • Be a member of the Puratos UK team.

What We Expect From You

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing customer portfolios.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
  • Knowledge of Forecasting (S&OP), Demand Planning, Budgeting, Margin Management, Customer Tools.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand customer needs deeply.
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team player with collaboration skills across levels.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to execute strategy effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Self-motivated, persuasive, and innovative.
