Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior Network Administrator for a DISA contract, performing configuration of switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls on-site at Fort Meade, MD. The role supports JWICS and requires DoD TS with SCI eligibility, plus strong Linux/Windows administration skills.

The candidate will maintain documentation, manage change control, and drive security measures across Cisco, Juniper, and Dell assets while collaborating on global architecture upgrades and external partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret with SCI.
• At least 3 years Linux and/or Windows familiarity.
• DoD 8140 certification supporting Network Operations Specialist (e.g. SEC+, CEH).
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent OR ability to obtain within 90 days of start date.
• ITIL v3 Foundation certified is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure network assets including switches, load balancers, routers, and firewalls.
• Maintain and update Cisco, Juniper, and Dell network assets; implement security measures.
• Create and maintain system documentation, configuration management, and change management.
• Complete checklists and manage devices to support cyber security controls.
• Assist in global network architecture upgrade projects with timelines and resources.
• Implement recurring security requirements on network devices.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with external partners; communicate as needed.
• Use Linux and Windows to navigate systems while managing network assets.
