Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Administrator for a DISA contract, onsite at Fort Meade, MD. The role supports JWICS environments and requires experience configuring switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls to ensure secure operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8+ years of related experience (or equivalent), or more years in lieu of degree.
• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret with SCI.
• At least 3 years Linux and/or Windows familiarity.
• DoD 8140 certification supporting Network Operations Specialist (e.g. SEC+, CEH).
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Configure assets including switches, load balancers, routers, and firewalls.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, updates and implement security measures on Cisco, Juniper, and Dell network assets.
• Create and maintain system documentation, configuration management, and change management efforts.
• Complete checklists and manage devices to mitigate cybersecurity controls.
• Assist in global network architecture upgrade projects with technical insight and timelines.
• Implement recurring security requirements on network devices.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with external partners as needed.
• Utilize Linux and Windows in navigating current systems while managing network assets.
• Provide architectural and topology recommendations for efficiency.
