Job summary

Amteck in the United States is seeking a Journeyman Electrician 1 to perform installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems. The role includes mentoring helpers and apprentices while working under a Foreman or Superintendent.

The candidate should have substantial experience in commercial/industrial environments, be able to read blueprints and project documents, and demonstrate strong safety practices. Willingness to learn and operate across divisions is expected.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to use standard tools and install electrical systems as directed.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit and fittings.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and conductors.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics; lay out work from drawings.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on site.
