Job summary

Akima Systems Engineering is seeking a Joint SOF Operations Readiness Subject Matter Expert to support MacDill AFB, Florida. You will plan, execute, and assess joint and multinational training events to enhance staff readiness and mission capability.

Responsibilities include advising staff, synchronizing warfighting functions, and providing real-time recommendations during readiness events. A Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years in SOF are required.

Qualifications

• Over 12 years of SOF experience.
• Experience briefing O-5 through GO/FO and coordinating across TSOCs and CCMDs.
• Operational design and crisis response understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide command-level readiness insight and decision support.
• Advise on planning systems, warfighting function synchronization, and risk logic.
• Track readiness trends and deliver post-event recommendations.
