Job summary

SMBC is seeking a highly experienced Jira Administrator to lead the configuration, administration, governance, and evolution of our Atlassian Enterprise Cloud Platform and broader Agile tooling ecosystem. This role supports the SDLC across the organization, with emphasis on Jira and Confluence administration and Azure DevOps/JiraForge integrations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in enterprise Jira administration, Atlassian Cloud expertise, and strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• ACP certification.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator or Enterprise Agile Tooling specialist in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience administering Atlassian Cloud and Data Center platforms.
• Strong expertise in Jira configuration (permissions, schemes, automation).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization’s SME for Enterprise Agile Tooling, including Jira, Confluence, test management tools, and plugins.
• Administer, configure, and maintain Jira and Confluence across multiple projects and teams in large-scale environments.
• Design and implement custom workflows, fields, screens, and automation to support SDLC workflows and Agile processes.
• Manage user access, roles, and security configurations with compliance and governance in mind.
• Support and extend Jira capabilities using Jira Forge and integrations where out-of-the-box falls short.
• Define and maintain dashboards and metrics reporting for real-time delivery insights.
