Job summary
South Geeks LLC is seeking a hands-on Jira Admin to design, validate, and own an outcome-based planning system across Jira Premium, Atlassian Goals, and Jira Product Discovery. You would lead a Planning Center of Excellence, teaching product groups to work in the new model and enabling cost visibility for funding decisions.
The role involves designing architecture, workflows, governance, and migration paths, with deep experience in Jira hierarchies, reporting, and capacity planning.
Qualifications
- Deep hands-on Jira Cloud Premium expertise.
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian Goals (nested goals, measures, teams, links, APIs).
- Experience with Jira Product Discovery and linking to product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Planning Center of Excellence with hands-on training and documentation.
- Assess and validate Jira Premium hierarchy, workflows, boards, and reporting capabilities.
- Design models for Objectives, Strategic Plays, and Business/ Product Outcomes and their relationships to Jira items.
