Job summary

Commercial Programming Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Principal Solution Architect – JDE to lead design, modernization, and deployment of JD Edwards environments across AWS, Azure, and OCI.

This is a technical architecture role focused on JDE infrastructure and cloud strategy. The ideal candidate brings 15–25 years in enterprise IT and deep JD Edwards CNC and cloud experience, with proven ability to craft secure, highly available architectures and to drive migrations and modernization

Qualifications

• 15–25 years in enterprise IT, technical/solution architecture.
• Extensive JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture and deployment experience.
• Proven history migrating JD Edwards apps to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI).
• Strong knowledge of JDE CNC architecture: application/web servers, databases, integrations.
• Deep cloud infrastructure expertise: networking, compute, storage, identity, security, monitoring.
• Experience leading enterprise app cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Excellence in high availability, DR, backup/recovery, and security architecture.
• Customer-facing solution architecture and pre-sales engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical solution architecture for JDE EnterpriseOne on AWS, Azure, and OCI.
• Design cloud infra: compute, networking, storage, DB, middleware, identity, security, monitoring.
• Architect and support JDE cloud migrations and modernization projects.
• Develop scalable, highly available and secure JDE architectures.
• Define DR/BCP strategies including backup, failover, RPO/RTO.
