Job summary

Coins is seeking a Java Trading Engineer to build and optimize core trading systems to support high concurrency and low latency for both spot and futures trading.

You will participate from business requirements through system implementation, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency of the trading platform. Collaboration with the quantitative team will enhance API interfaces for high-frequency needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related majors; 3–5 years of Java development experience and at least 1 year of trading system development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java basics, concurrent programming, JVM principles and tuning.
• Familiarity with high-performance frameworks such as Netty and Disruptor; low-latency system development experience preferred.
• Understanding of core trading system concepts such as Order Book design and matching algorithms (limit and market orders).
• Knowledge of distributed system design and middleware usage (Kafka, Redis, MySQL) in trading scenarios.
• Strong problem-analysis ability to identify bottlenecks or anomalies via logs and monitoring data.
• Experience in financial exchanges, securities firms, or quantitative trading is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core modules of the trading system using Java stack (order reception, matching engine, settlement, market data).
• Optimize system performance to achieve millisecond-level order processing latency in high-concurrency scenarios.
• Design distributed trading architectures to sustain high availability under peak traffic (10,000+ orders/sec).
• Implement trading rules such as spot T+0, futures margin management, and margin calls.
• Collaborate with quantitative trading team to support API interfaces for high-frequency trading needs.
• Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning to reduce production risks.
