Artifintech in Cary, NC is seeking a senior, hands‑on Java technical lead to design, build, and modernize enterprise banking applications. You will architect and deliver mission‑critical platforms across commercial banking, lending, digital banking, payments, and customer servicing, while guiding a development team through design and implementation.

Qualifications

6+ years of software development with Java and Spring.
Experience leading development teams as hands-on technical lead.
Banking domain experience (commercial banking or lending).
Microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design.
Cloud technologies and modernizing legacy apps to cloud-native.
Integration with core banking platforms and third-party systems.
Strong focus on security, scalability and performance.
Collaborates with Product, BA, Architects and QA teams.

Responsibilities

Architect and build enterprise-scale banking applications using Java/Spring.
Design secure, highly available systems including RESTful APIs and microservices.
Define application architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
Modernize legacy banking applications to cloud-native environments.
Deliver lending/credit, onboarding, risk, payments, and CRM solutions.
Lead and mentor the development team, review code and architecture.
Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, Architects and QA.
