Quantum Technologies. LLC in Cary, NC is seeking a senior, hands-on Java technical lead to design, build, and modernize enterprise banking applications across commercial banking, lending, digital banking, payments, and customer servicing.

You will architect and deliver mission-critical platforms and lead a development team from architecture through deployment. The role emphasizes scalable, secure, high-performance solutions, microservices, RESTful APIs, cloud modernization, and collaboration

Formación

• 6+ years of software development experience with extensive Java/Spring
• Recent experience with a banking client
• Proven experience leading development teams as a hands-on technical lead
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design
• Cloud technologies and modernizing legacy banking apps to cloud-native
• Experience in commercial banking or lending (origination, servicing, underwriting, payments)
• Integration with core banking platforms and third-party financial systems
• Strong focus on security, scalability, and performance
• Collaboration with Product, BA, architecture, and QA teams

Responsabilidades

• Architect and build enterprise banking applications using Java/Spring from architecture through testing and deployment
• Design scalable, secure systems including RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions
• Set architecture and coding standards; define engineering best practices
• Modernize legacy banking applications to cloud-native environments
• Deliver banking solutions across loan origination, servicing, underwriting, payments, customer onboarding, and CRM
• Integrate with core banking platforms and third-party financial systems
• Mentor developers, conduct code and architecture reviews, ensure system scalability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams
