Job summary

Ethereum Technologies in Cary, NC seeks a senior, hands-on Java technical lead to design, build, and modernize enterprise banking applications. You’ll architect and deliver platforms across lending, digital banking, payments, and CRM, while guiding a development team through design and implementation of scalable, secure solutions.

You will lead architecture, set coding standards, move legacy apps to cloud-native environments, and partner with Product, BA, Architects, and QA to deliver end‑to‑end

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring
• Recent experience leading development teams as a hands-on technical lead
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design

Responsibilities

• Architect and build enterprise banking applications using Java and Spring, from architecture to testing and deployment
• Design for scale and security in banking and lending ops, incl. microservices and APIs
• Set application architecture and coding standards; define engineering best practices
• Modernize legacy banking apps to cloud-native environments
• Deliver end-to-end banking capabilities including origination, servicing, underwriting, and payments
• Integrate with core banking platforms and third-party systems
• Lead and mentor the team, perform code and architecture reviews, collaborate with QA
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and QA
