Job summary

Artifintech is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to drive hands-on Java/Spring Boot development for enterprise-scale applications. The role emphasizes building reusable libraries, microservices, and domain-driven design while mentoring engineers and guiding technical decisions.

You will work with Product Owners and Architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions, improve CI/CD and DevSecOps practices, and ensure secure, observable, high-performance systems in AWS.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on Java development with Spring Boot.
• 5+ years in a senior technical leadership or equivalent role.
• 3+ years leading technical implementations while remaining hands-on.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on Java/Spring Boot development across the SDLC, including reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Translate business and technical requirements into implementable software components and guide engineers on approaches and trade-offs.
• Design configuration-driven capabilities and integrate or extend rules engines and frameworks for configurable behavior.
• Build shared libraries, reusable frameworks, SDKs, and services to improve consistency and reduce duplication.
• Implement microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations with domain-driven design principles.
• Develop Kafka producers and consumers with monitoring and error handling, applying resiliency patterns.
• Model data, write advanced SQL, and optimize database and application performance.
• Develop cloud-native apps in AWS and improve CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
• Apply secure coding practices and observability through logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and troubleshooting while contributing hands-on development.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, QA, and DevOps to meet engineering standards.
