UST is seeking a Senior Java Developer to independently design, build, and maintain secure Java applications and RESTful APIs hosted on AWS. You will own CI/CD pipelines, implement robust security practices, and participate in on-call production support and incident response.

The role requires 6–8 years of Java experience with deep knowledge of Spring Framework and AWS services. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring peers are key parts of the responsibilities.

Qualificações

• 6-8 years of professional Java software development experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Strong AWS expertise with hands-on experience in EC2, API Gateway, S3, and Lambda.
• Independently own CI/CD pipelines, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong track record of building secure applications and APIs, with familiarity with OWASP Top 10.
• Experience in production incident response, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Independently design, develop, and maintain Java applications and RESTful APIs using the Spring Framework on AWS.
• Build and support secure APIs with strong authentication/authorization (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT).
• Operate AWS-hosted services (EC2, API Gateway, S3, Lambda) and related networking/monitoring.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild).
• Provide production support including incident triage, RCA, and remediation.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and audit trails for compliance and traceability.
• Write clean, tested code and enforce quality via reviews and tests.
• Mentor junior engineers on Java, Spring, and AWS security best practices.
