Job summary

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, a BS in CS or related field, and hands-on Azure/Kubernetes expertise, plus experience with relational and NoSQL databases and AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and container workloads
• Kubernetes (AKS) for orchestration and scaling
• CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Git-based workflows
• Cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and resiliency patterns
• Agile/Scrum development environments
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Copilot/Cursor/Codeium
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence architecture

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java + Spring Boot microservices
• Own services through full lifecycle including testing and deployment
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Design data models for relational and NoSQL databases
• Apply cloud-native and distributed-systems patterns on Azure
• Mentor engineers and participate in design reviews
