Job summary

Compunnel Inc. is seeking an experienced Java Developer in Pasadena, CA to design, build, and maintain robust software. You will implement microservices, batch processing, and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, with a strong focus on clean code and scalable architectures.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and navigate Waterfall projects when needed. A Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT and 5–10 years in Java are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java with modern features and clean, null-safe code.
• Deep Spring Boot experience for RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Spring Web, Spring Data JPA, and custom queries.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and batch processing.
• Strong Agile experience; understanding of Waterfall contexts.
• Git, Gradle, and common IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ/VS Code).
• SQL and NoSQL databases; unit/integration testing and TDD.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; 5–10 years in Java.
