Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Payments team in the United States. The role centers on building high-scale, 24/7 APIs and payment services across cloud providers using Java and Spring Boot. You’ll own systems end-to-end, from design through production ownership.

You will expand payment channels, protect user assets with strong correctness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while mentoring others. This is a chance to impact a trusted, global fintech platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and design patterns.
• Experience designing & operating large-scale systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core payment APIs and distributed services in Java/Spring Boot.
• Expand global payment channels and methods across markets.
• Prioritize correctness: reconciliation, idempotency, failure recovery, observability.
• Contribute to design reviews and set engineering standards.
• Tackle distributed systems challenges and drive to resolution.
• Collaborate with product, design, and partner teams across regions.
• Mentor engineers and share learnings to raise team capability.
• Stay curious and keep pace with the fast-moving crypto/fintech industry.
