Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced software engineer to analyze, design, test, develop, and maintain best-in-class software experiences. You will collaborate with a team across the organization and adhere to U.S.

Bank standards to minimize customer impact, following Agile and DevOps practices. The role emphasizes building scalable applications with C#, ASP.NET, and RESTful APIs, plus data-driven platforms, API integrations, CI/CD, and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to six years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, OOP, and RESTful API Development.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Proficiency with Git, AWS DevOps, source control, Agile methodologies, and cloud-native deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization, and cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring, security best practices, automated testing, IaC, Splunk, Dynatrace, App Insights, and observability tools.
• Experience developing data-driven applications using SQL Server and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and RESTful APIs.
• Build and support data-driven platforms for secure, reliable, high-performance operations.
• Develop and optimize API integrations between internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Deploy and support applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
