Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Java Spring Boot Developer to join our Charlotte, NC team in a hybrid capacity. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot, building REST APIs and microservices.

You will collaborate with architects, DevOps, QA, and business analysts, implementing secure architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud modernization efforts across enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java/backend development.
• 5+ years with Spring Boot.
• 4+ years developing REST APIs.
• 4+ years designing microservices.
• 4+ years with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• 3+ years SQL and database integration.
• 3+ years CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• 2+ years Splunk or similar observability tools.
• 3+ years cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 3+ years application/cloud modernization.
• 3+ years producing production support.
• 3+ years Agile/Scrum development.
• 2+ years Git, code reviews, automated testing.
• 3+ years troubleshooting complex production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend apps using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Design scalable, secure architecture patterns.
• Work with Oracle/PostgreSQL databases and SQL.
